# PASINELLI, Lorenzo [View the canonical artist record]() ## Artist - Lifespan: 1629–1700 - Profession: painter - School: Italian ## Biography Italian painter. He trained with Guido Reni 's most gifted pupil, Simone Cantarini. As his assistant he absorbed Cantarini's taste for delicately inflected figural poses, for an unusually nuanced palette and for a reflective rather than dramatic interpretation of both religious and secular subjects.
