## Biography

Dutch silversmith. He was active in Delft where he became a master goldsmith in 1666. He was an artist of great ability, and archival records indicate that for many years he played a prominent role within the Delft goldsmiths&#39; guild. And yet only one work by him, a dish \(Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam\) is known.
