## Biography

Bernardino Fasolo \(also known as Fazoli or Fazola da Pavia\), Italian painter. He was the son and pupil of Lorenzo Fasolo \(1463-c. 1518\) who belonged to the Foppa school and moved to Genoa in 1495/96. In the fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries a number of Lombard artists moved to Genoa. One such artist was Bernardino Fasola, Bernardino is known to have been a member of the council of the Guild in Genoa in 1520.
