Pal. 69\) ## Commentary Virgil: Eclogues, Georgics, Aeneid c. 1403 Manuscript \(Med. Pal. 69\) Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, Florence This Latin manuscript contains the three most famous works by Virgil, and it was written by Pierre de Lormel d'Alvergne in 1403. The decoration includes two miniatures at the beginning of the Georgics and the Aeneid, attributed to a French illuminator known as the 'Virgil Master' \(documented between the 1390s and 1420s\) and his assistants.
