# Bestiary [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MINIATURIST, English]() - Date: 1151-1200 - Technique: Manuscript \(M. 81\) ## Commentary This manuscript, a Bestiary, was probably made in Lincoln, and was given to Workshop Priory in 1187. According to the Bestiary, mother monkeys love one baby but neglects the other.
