# Codex Vyšehradensis [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MINIATURIST, Bohemian]() - Date: 1051-1100 - Technique: Manuscript \(XIV- A. 13.\) ## Commentary This codex, made c. 1085 on the occasion of the crowning of Vratislav II, king of Bohemia \(1032-1092\). Vyšehrad in Prague was the residence of the Bohemian princes, the church of Vyšehrad was the first owner of the manuscript.
