# Psalter [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MINIATURIST, English]() - Date: 1251-1300 - Technique: Manuscript \(MS Add. 28681\), 170 x 130 mm ## Commentary This parchment codex of 226 folios contains Psalter, with additional hymns and prayers and a medieval world map \('The Map Psalter'\). Folio 9 of this manuscript contains a world-map with Jerusalem in the centre. Medieval world-maps reflected less the state of geographical knowledge than a schema of divine order.
