## Commentary

The centre panel \(48 x 25 cm\) shows Christ crowning the Virgin surrounded by saints; while on the left wing \(48 x 13 cm\) is the Nativity, on the right wing \(48 x 13 cm\), the Crucifixion. Above are the Archangel Gabriel and the Virgin Annunciate. This triptych was painted for private devotion and is one of only two works by the artist known to have been made in Lombardy.
