# St George Baptizes the King and His Family \(detail\) [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [ALTICHIERO da Zevio]() - Date: 1351-1400 - Technique: Fresco ## Commentary In this scene, most of those present are wearing traditional garb of the period; moreover, several of these figures are presumed to be portraits of contemporaries.
