# Adoration of the Kings [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [DAVID, Gerard]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Oil on panel, 60 x 59 cm ## Commentary Adoration of the Kings c. 1515 Oil on panel, 60 x 59 cm National Gallery, London The two panels in the National Gallery, the Adoration of the Kings and the Lamentation, were part of a larger altarpiece which was probably painted in 1515, when David moved from Bruges to Antwerp.
