## Commentary

Psalter of the Duc de Berry c. 1386 Manuscript \(Ms. français 13091\) Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris The miniature representing the Prophet Isaiah is from the Psalter of the Duc de Berry. John the Berry \(1340-1416\) had a long and productive career as a patron of the arts. André Beauneveu was employed to provide the figures of prophets and apostles for his Psalter.
