# Tribune for the choir \(detail\) [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MEDIEVAL SCULPTOR, French]() - Date: 1151-1200 - Technique: Marble ## Commentary Separated from the shaft by toruses, the capitals of the choir tribune in the former priory church of Notre-Dame in Serrabone are in high relief, and the impost blocks are surrounded with rosette, palmette and vine ornaments. The figures depicted consist of a variety of grotesque creatures which are standing on the toruses.
