# Oriental Writer Cutting His Pen [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [CUYP, Benjamin Gerritsz.]() - Date: 1601-1650 - Technique: Oil on panel, 28 x 23 cm ## Commentary Formerly this painting was attributed to Leonard Bramer, one of those painters who adopted Rembrandt's innovations in their own individual manner.
