# Ecce Homo Triptych [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [HEEMSKERCK, Maerten van]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Panel, 219 x 150 cm \(central panel\) ## Commentary Jesus stands between the governor of Judaea, Pilate, and two executioners. Pilate displays Jesus to the people of Jerusalem with the words "Here is the man" \(Latin: Ecce homo\).
