## Commentary

This view in vertical format shows the Canal Grande with the church of San Geremia, Palazzo Labia behind it, and the entrance to the Cannareggio, bridged by the Ponte delle Guglie. Due to the outstanding quality of the work, it was formerly attributed to Canaletto.
