## Commentary

The façade and the internal courtyard of the Palazzo Ranuzzi \(now the Palazzo di Giustizia\) were probably built on a project by Andrea Palladio. The spectacular staircase was created by Giuseppe Antonio Torri \(1655-c. 1713\) and Giovanni Battista Piacentini at the end of the seventeenth century. The photo shows the scenic staircase.
