## Commentary

Objects of interest in Sant&#39;Apollinare in Classe are - among others - sarcophagi of the 6th century and later carved with chi-rho monograms, lambs, birds, vine scrolls, and other symbolic motifs. One of the sarcophagi is the Sarcophagus of the Lambs.
