## Commentary

Annunciation c. 1450 Tempera on wood, 182 x 66 cm \(each\) Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University, Cambridge The composition with the large frame is unusual in Spanish art. It is not a diptych but part of a complex polyptych closely related to Sienese painting. The signature of the artist can be read on the scrap of paper at the bottom of the left wing.
