# Lot and his Daughters [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [CRANACH, Lucas the Elder]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Oil and tempera on red beechwood, 57 x 39 cm ## Commentary The subject of Lot and his daughters enjoyed great popularity in the early sixteenth century, Lucas Cranach painted at least eight versions of this scene.
