# Triptych [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [GUGLIELMO VENEZIANO]() - Date: 1351-1400 - Technique: Tempera on panel, gold ground, in an engaged frame, 40 x 19 cm \(central\), 40 x 9 cm \(each wing\) ## Commentary This charming and still complete triptych, encased by an elaborately carved engaged frame, was painted by the Venetian artist Guglielmo Veneziano who was active in the second half of the14th century.
