# Salvator Mundi [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [PUGET, Pierre]() - Date: 1651-1700 - Technique: Marble, height 46 cm ## Commentary The bust was placed in a circular niche on the main façade of Puget's house built in rue de Rome in Marseille. According to tradition in 1694 it was transferred to the church of the Minorites where, according to his will, he was buried beside his parents.
