# Tarquin and Lucretia [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [GIULIO ROMANO]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Fresco ## Commentary This picture, very typical of Giulio's work in Mantua in its choice of subject, represents a famous episode from early Roman history.
