The statue's kinship with the <a onclick="return OpenOther\('/html/e/eyck\_van/jan/09ghent/2closed/13johne.html'\)" href="/html/e/eyck\_van/jan/09ghent/2closed/13johne.html">grisaille sculptural elements</a> in Jan van Eyck's Ghent Altarpiece is worth pointing out.
