# Adam and Eve [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [LEYDEN, Lucas van]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Engraving, 190 x 248 mm ## Commentary In his late engravings Lucas turned more and more to the study of the male and female nude, both the pagan, Mars and Venus, and the biblical, Adam and Eve.
