# Bust of Napoleon [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [HOUDON, Jean-Antoine]() - Date: 1751-1800 - Technique: Marble ## Commentary Not singled out for special treatment during the ancien régime, Houdon did not enjoyed any particularly outstanding success under Napoleon.
