# Portrait of the Sculptor Callamard [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [AUGUSTIN, Jean-Baptiste-Jacques]() - Date: 1751-1800 - Technique: Miniature on ivory, 20 x 16 cm ## Commentary This portrait was executed when the sculptor Charles Antoine Callamard \(1776-1812\) was barely twenty-five old, winner of the Prix du Rome in sculpture in 1797.
