## Commentary

Together with a panel representing St Peter \(also in the Budapest museum\) the painting was an organ shutter. On the reverse is the Virgin of Annunciation by Gianfrancesco da Tolmezzo \(a pupil of and assistant to Domenico da Tolmezzo\). The Angel of the Annunciation by Gianfrancesco da Tolmezzo is on the reverse of the other panel.
