## Commentary

The print shows the portrait of Nicolaus Fleischbein \(1604-1660\), a merchant in Nuremberg, half-length, in three-quarter profile to right, a column with his arms at right; in an oval frame set in a Schweifwerk border. It was made after a painting by Georg Strauch \(1613-1675\).
