# Annunciation [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [LEONARDO DI BERNARDINO DEL SIGNORACCIO]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Oil on panel, gold ground, 178 x 149 cm ## Commentary This Annunciation is the only known signed work by Leonardo di Bernardino del Signoraccio and the very keystone on which the artist's oeuvre can be constructed. \(It is signed lower centre: LEONARDVS/ F.
