# Altar of the Sacrament [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [ROBBIA, Andrea della]() - Date: 1451-1500 - Technique: Glazed terracotta, 270 x 240 cm ## Commentary The garland decorating the altarpiece is held by two putti in a manner similar to the one carved in marble by Desiderio da Settignano for the <A onclick="return OpenOther\('/html/d/desideri/marsuppi.html'\)" HREF="/html/d/desideri/marsuppi.html">Marsuppini Monument</A> in Santa Croce \(c. 1453\).
