# Isaac Blessing Jacob [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [EECKHOUT, Gerbrand van den]() - Date: 1651-1700 - Technique: Oil on canvas, 101 x 128 cm ## Commentary The subject of Isaac Blessing Jacob was a popular one and was represented by several Dutch pupils and followers of Rembrandt in the 1640s. Similarly to the other versions, this painting shows the influence of Rembrandt.
