# Christ before Pilate [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [UNKNOWN MASTER, German]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Pine, 76 x 60 cm ## Commentary This gifted, little-known painter was active in close proximity to Dürer.
