## Commentary

The foundation of this church goes back to a plague vow by Abbot Maximilian Pagel. The three-cornered, curving ground plan is marked out by three corner towers. The cornice curves elegantly around the whole building thus incorporating the pilasters of the towers with the main structure. The architect was Johann Michael Prunner \(1669-1739\).
