## Commentary

KNOX, Archibald \(b. 1864, Cronkbourne, Isle of Man, d. 1933, Douglas, Isle of Man\) Lidded Tudric biscuit box 1903 Pewter, enamel, 10 x 11 x 11 cm \(without lid\) Museum of Art, Indianapolis Knox also designed some of famous Liberty&#39;s &#34;Tudric&#34; pewter series, very similar to the Jugendstil pewterware made in Germany.
