Portrait of the Procurator Girolamo Querini c. 1669 Oil on canvas, 236 x 161 cm Fondazione Querini Stampalia, Venice This portrait is an excellent example of Bombelli&#39;s style. While observing the canons of a ceremonial portrait, Bombelli also employs a certain psychological introspection that draws on the fluency Anthony Van Dyck.
