## Commentary

The stained glass window showing the Life of St Anne is one of the most remarkable of the many windows of the Cathedral. It is attributed to Linard Gontier. Bright colours, fine drawings, multiple picturesque details, wealth of clothing make it a true masterpiece of stained glass from the early seventeenth century.
