# Self-Portrait with a Portrait on an Easel [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [RÉGNIER, Nicolas]() - Date: 1601-1650 - Technique: Oil on canvas, 111 x 138 cm ## Commentary This painting is seems to be a tribute to the sitter of the portrait on the easel, who may be identified as Marchese Vincenzo Giustiniani, the collector and patron of Caravaggio to whom Régnier was 'pittore di casa'.
