## Commentary

Antonius Altar 1500-22 Wood sculpture and panel painting St. Annen-Museum, Lübeck The retable of the Antonius Brotherhood \(&#34;Antonius Altar&#34;\) was originally in the castle church at Lübeck. The sculpture in the centre is by Benedikt Dreyer, the wings were painted by Hans von Köln \(active 1501-1522\).
