# Elevation of the Louvre [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [BLONDEL, Jacques-François]() - Date: 1751-1800 - Technique: Engraving ## Commentary The engraving shows the elevation of the south façade of the Louvre facing the river. It is Plate 11 from Blondel's Architecture françoise, Tome 4, Livre 6.
