# Interior of an Imaginary Church [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [DELEN, Dirck van]() - Date: 1601-1650 - Technique: Oil on panel, 40 x 59 cm ## Commentary Most of Van Delen's paintings from the 1620s feature dark, rather rigid and angular, Renaissance-style architecture and usually include a vanishing point exactly in the middle of the painting.
