Because of the style of the unusual trompe-l'oeil structure prearranged by Girolamo Mengozzi Colonna, which runs along the walls framing the scenes painted by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, the room is commonly known as the Gothic Pavilion. The frescoes scenes are the Summer Stroll, the Winter Stroll, and the Declaration of Love.
