## Commentary

Lieven Cruyl made series of drawings as well as individual renderings of the landmarks of Rome. Several of the drawings were later engraved by himself. The present print shows the church of Santa Maria in Via Lata in Rome, built by Pietro da Cortona in 1658-62.
