## Commentary

The high-relief depicting the Adoration of the Magi is located in the historic centre of Genoa, in Via degli Orefici near piazza Campetto, which in ancient times was called &#39;campus fabrorum&#39; where the fraveghi \(silversmiths\) worked noble metals since the Middle Ages. A work of the Gagini workshop, it is above the sign of a shop.
