# Pilaster capital [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MEDIEVAL SCULPTOR, French]() - Date: 1101-1150 - Technique: Stone ## Commentary In the religious thought and imagery of the Romanesque period Jews were identified in particular with the disgraced disciple, Judas Iscariot.
