# The Hermits St Anthony and St Paul [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [DÜRER, Albrecht]() - Date: 1501-1550 - Technique: Woodcut ## Commentary Dürer produced a series of popular pictures of saints in the years 1500-04, and some to a later date. This work went alongside with that of the "Great Book", the Life of the Virgin.
