Study for Deluge \(portion of sheet\) c. 1546 Red chalk on paper, 419 x 216 mm \(whole sheet\) Galleria degli Uffizi, Florence This drawing demonstrates how the autonomy of the individual human figures is, in typical Mannerist style, overwhelmed by the movement of the linear composition.
