## Commentary

The second Isaac scene takes place in the same box-like room as the previous one. On the right, in spite of the badly preserved state, we can make out Jacob and his mother Rebecca leaving the room. In this way the continuity of the two scenes and the explosive nature of the sequence of events is made very clear. This fresco is located in the clerestory of the north wall in the second bay of the nave.
