# Clifftop Walk at Pourville [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [MONET, Claude]() - Date: 1851-1900 - Technique: Oil on canvas, 67 x 82 cm ## Commentary In 1882, Monet stayed for a few months in Normandy, in the small fishing village of Pourville. He painted several canvases in the countryside, the cliffs and the view of the sea above and below them.
