# Minerva Dressing [View the canonical artwork record]() ## Artwork - Artist: [FONTANA, Lavinia]() - Date: 1551-1600 - Technique: Oil on canvas, 154 x 115 cm ## Commentary This canvas in a private collection is probably a version of the painting of the same subject commissioned by Scipio Borghese in 1613 \(now in the Galleria Borghese in Rome\). It was painted shortly before the Galleria Borghese painting.
