## Commentary

This fresco on the window wall depicts the martyrdom of the Dominican saint Peter Martyr. The two Dominican saints on the window wall of the chapel, Dominic and Peter Martyr, were placed in dramatic settings so that their portraits would match the other narrative compositions.
